Obituary of Ronald A. Muscle

Ronald A. Muscle died Wednesday, April 20, 2022, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. He was 77.

Born in New Brunswick to the late August and Elizabeth (Russell) Muscle, he lived in Piscataway before moving to North Brunswick 38 years ago. He was an insurance broker for 40 years before retiring in 2008. He had also owned The Carriage Shop, a card and gift store in Somerset.

Surviving is his wife of 52 years, Kathleen (Roche) Muscle; his daughter Diane Phillips and her husband Barry of Somerset; two sons – Richard Muscle and his wife Jennifer of New Brunswick and Robert Muscle of North Brunswick; grandchildren – Devin and Adriana Phillips and Richard Muscle, Jr.; step grandchildren – Cassie, Gabe and Lucas; and several nieces and nephews and their families.

Cremation was private. A gathering of relatives and friends will take place 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM Saturday, April 30, 2022 at Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick.
