Obituary of Dorothy V. DeMasi

Dorothy V. DeMasi died Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at St. Peter's University Hospital in New Brunswick. She was 65.

Born in New Brunswick she was a lifelong Highland Park resident. She was a waitress at Sandy's Luncheonette in East Brunswick for 15 years before retiring last October.

She was predeceased by her father Mario DeMasi; and her brother Charles De Masi. Surviving are her son Thomas O'Brien of Highland Park; her sister Cynthia Randall of Monroe Township; her brother Mario DeMasi, Jr. of Cleveland, South Carolina; her sister-in-law Terri DeMasi of Port Charlotte, Florida; her fur babies – Lily and Felix; and numerous cousins and friends.

Visitation will be 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick with a funeral service to be held at 4:00 PM. Private cremation will follow. Memorial contributions in Dorothy's name may be made to the Highland Park Rescue Squad, 128 South 11th Avenue, Highland Park, NJ 08904.
