Obituary of Charles Henry Clinton

Charles H. Clinton died Friday, June 3, 2022, at University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro. He was 87 years old.

Born in New Brunswick to the late Charles Ely Clinton, Jr. and Ruth (Seiffert) Clinton, he was a lifelong North Brunswick Township resident. He attended Rutgers University, Riders University and Trenton State College and worked as a social studies teacher and Coordinator of Outdoor Education for the Franklin Township Board of Education for 38 years before retiring in 1994.

Mr. Clinton was an active member of the Reformed Church of North Brunswick for over 50 years and served as an ordained Elder. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving in the late 1950s.

Surviving are his wife of 65 years, Doris (Siegert) Clinton; and several nieces and nephews He was predeceased by his brother Wrightson E. Clinton.

Visitation will be 11:00 AM to 12:00 Noon Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at the Reformed Church of North Brunswick with a funeral service to be held at 12:00 Noon. Burial will follow in Elm Ridge Cemetery in North Brunswick. Memorial contributions may be made to the Memorial Fund of the Reformed Church of North Brunswick, 17 Laurel Place, North Brunswick, NJ 08902. Arrangements are under the direction of Selover Funeral Home, North Brunswick.
