Obituary of Joseph A. McEneaney

Joseph A. McEneaney died Sunday, June 26, 2022, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. He was 60 years old.

Born in Jersey City to the late John E. and Anne (Sesta) McEneaney, he lived in Jersey City and Sayreville before moving to North Brunswick 21 years ago. He was a graduate of Sayreville War Memorial High School and worked at Wonder Bread, K&B Tattoo in Hightstown and Napa Auto Parts before becoming a truck driver for Teamsters Local #701 at Yellow Freight in Hamilton.

While at K&B Tattoo he spent 20 years helping to organize the Toys for Tots drive. He was a past volunteer fireman in Sayreville and was an avid salt and fresh water fisherman and crabber.

Surviving are his wife Maria (Branciforte) McEneaney; three daughters – Heather Turnage of Tallahassee, Florida, Tiffany Kidder and her husband Donald of Melbourne, Florida and Anna McEneaney of North Brunswick; his brother John McEneaney and his wife Barbara and their family of Brick; three grandchildren – Kayleigh Kidder, Dalton Turnage and Ariyana Kidder; his beloved boxer, Piper; and countless friends.

Cremation was private. A gathering of friends and family will be held 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Thursday, June 30, 2022, at Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick. In lieu of flowers the family requests everyone to donate blood at your local blood bank.
