Obituary of Geraldine H. Presseisen

Geraldine H. "Cookie" (Davidson) Presseisen died Saturday, July 16, 2022, at the home of her daughter in Highland Park. She was 78. Born in New Brunswick to the late Richard and Edith (Voorhees) Davidson, she lived in Franklin Park before moving to Highland Park 53 years ago. She was a machine operator at Gary Manufacturing in North Brunswick for 35 years and then worked in the Child Care Center of YMHA/YWHA in Highland Park before her retirement. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her sister Nancy Dudkin. Surviving are her husband David P. Presseisen; two daughters – Lisa Melchisky and her husband Joseph of Kendall Park and Louann Morgan of Highland Park; her son David Presseisen of Highland Park; eight grandchildren – Devin Melchisky, Tyler Melchisky and his wife Taylor, Zachary Melchisky, Corey Morgan, Victoria Melchisky, Kayla Morgan, Aiden Presseisen and Xavier Presseisen; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, July 20, 2022, at Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick. Funeral services will be 9:30 AM Thursday, July 21, 2022, at Selover Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Van Liew Cemetery in North Brunswick.
