Obituary of Alan C. Hall

Alan C. Hall died Sunday, July 17, 2022, at Bayshore Community Hospital in Holmdel. He was 61. Born in Jersey City to the late Thomas R. Hall and Marilyn Hall Kalafsky, he lived in North Brunswick before moving to Matawan in 2015. He was a treatment specialist for TruGreen, Inc. in South Plainfield for the past 15 years. Mr. Hall proudly served in the United States Marine Corps from 1979 to 1983. Surviving are his wife Donna McPherson Hall; his daughter Kristen Hall of Matawan; two sons – Robert Hall and his wife Heather of Catasauqua, Pennsylvania and Alan "Buddy" Hall of Matawan; two granddaughters – Elyshka and Emalina Hall; two sisters – Athena Osterkorn of Harrison and Anastasia Simone of Old Bridge; his brother Thomas W. Hall of Henderson, Nevada; his stepfather Edmund Kalafsky of Old Bridge; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother-in-law Ronald Simone. Visitation will be 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM Friday, July 22, 2022, at Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick with a funeral service at 6:30 PM. Private cremation will follow.
