Lillian (Bunn) McManimon, beloved Mother, Nana and Great Nana passed peacefully Saturday, August 13, 2022, at CentraState Medical Center in Freehold. She was 84. Born in New Brunswick to the late Harry and Edith (Goddard) Bunn, she is the last surviving member of the Bunn family of farmers who maintained farmland throughout South Brunswick and Princeton well into the turn of the 20th century. Lillian was married to Thomas R. McManimon, Jr. for 56 years until his death in 2012 and was a longtime resident of South Brunswick Township where they raised their two daughters Cynthia and Coleen. She worked for United Telephone Company in Belle Mead for nearly 40 years prior to her retirement. She later moved to Monroe Township where she enjoyed playing dominoes with friends and tending to her garden. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Kendall Park Fire Department. She enjoyed getaways to the family's weekend home in the Poconos, taking cruises and vacationing in the U.S. Virgin Islands, entertaining at her home in Kendall Park and most of all being surrounded by family and friends. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her twin brother Harry "Gus" Bunn, her brother George Bunn and her sister Betty Bunn Welch. She is survived by her loving family including her two daughters – Cynthia DiMonda of Dayton and Coleen Lettieri and her husband Thomas of Monmouth Junction; her "son" Jeffrey Smith of Florida; eight grandchildren – Kelly (partner Ian), Kristen (husband John), Nicholas (wife Ashley), Jennifer (husband Jeremy), Michael (partner Christina), Alexis, Brittany and Shannon; six great grandchildren – Madelyn, Logan, Jacob, Autumn, Owen and Brady; and many nieces, nephews and beloved friends.
