Obituary of Elsie R. Varga

Elsie R. (Neureuther) Varga died Friday, September 30, 2022, at her home in Annandale. She was 94. Born in Queens, New York to the late Karl and Lina (Schoelch) Neureuther, she lived in Franklin Park before moving to Annandale in 1971. She worked in the meat department of Save-Rite Supermarket in Somerset for over 30 years before retiring in 1997. Mrs. Varga was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Flemington. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Lydia Chapter #41. Her husband Joseph Varga, Jr. died in 2010. She was also predeceased by her brother Karl Neureuther; and her sister Louise Webber. Surviving are her children Patricia Lina Varga and Joseph Varga, III, both of Annandale; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Tuesday, October 4, 2022, at Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick with a funeral service at Selover Funeral Home at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in Franklin Memorial Park in North Brunswick.
