Obituary of Susan A. Reed

"Mother is the name for God in the lips and hearts of little children."

Susan A. Reed of Monroe Township breathed her last breath at 9:00 PM on November 15, 2022 at University Medical Center of Princeton in Plainsboro. She was 70 years old.

Born in New York to the late John and Eleanor (Ware) Muller, she was raised in Weehawken and lived in East Windsor before moving to Monroe Township over 15 years ago. A consummate caregiver in life, she worked in food service for Sudexo/Wood Dining at International Flavors and Fragrances in Dayton for 30 years before retiring in 2017.

An avid animal lover, she will be missed by Milo her Westie and companion these past few years.

She was predeceased by her husband James F Reed who died in 2018. She is survived by two sons and a daughter James, Kerri and Brian; and by her 6 grandchildren that meant the world to her - Janie, Genevieve, Ava, Amanda, Aiden, Alyssa. She will be missed by the countless who have known her and especially by her many brothers, sisters, sons, daughters-in-law and in-love - Sarah, Casey, Mary, Warren, Robin, Colleen, Randy, Steven, Craig and Kristen.

Visitation will be 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Wednesday, November 30 2022, at Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick. Private cremation will follow.
