Obituary of Helen Spicuzza

Helen (Federigo) Spicuzza died Monday, November 28, 2022, at Florida Medical Center in Lauderdale Lakes, Florida. She was 100. Born in North Brunswick to the late John and Dominica (Nastasi) Federigo, she lived in North Brunswick before moving to Punta Gorda, Florida in 1995. She resided in Hollywood, Florida for the past nine years. She was an inspector at Johnson and Johnson in North Brunswick for 17 years before retiring in 1979. Mrs. Spicuzza was a former communicant of Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church in North Brunswick and Sacred Heart R.C. Church in Punta Gorda. Her husband John J. Spicuzza died in 2014. Surviving are her daughter Elaine Ochtera of Hollywood, FL; two sons – Antonio David and his wife Maureen of North Brunswick and Lawrence David of Denver, Colorado; three stepsons and their families – Daniel, Joseph and Charles Spicuzza; four grandchildren – Anthony David, Jaclyn David, Michelle Ochtera and Michael David; three great grandchildren – Camryn, Ashley and Kayla David; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Monday, December 12, 2022, at Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick. Funeral services will be 9:15 AM Tuesday, December 13, 2022, from Selover Funeral Home followed by a 10:00 AM Mass at Our Lady of Peace Church in North Brunswick. Entombment will follow in Holy Cross Burial Park in South Brunswick.
