Obituary of Linda C. Caruso

Linda Caruso died Sunday, December 11, 2022, at her home in Monroe Township. She was 70.

She was born in New Orleans to the late Joseph Virga and Catherine (Yaworski) Virga Buonanno, was raised on Long Island and lived in East Brunswick before moving to Monroe Township over 40 years ago. She worked as a dental assistant in Monroe Township for over 35 years.

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her brother Joseph Virga; and her sister Carol Kennedy. Surviving are her daughter Nicole Caruso of Monroe Township; her son Michael Caruso and his wife Brittney of Monroe Township; two grandchildren – Linda Marcano and Ariana Marcano; her brother Jack Virga of Hermosa Beach, California; two sisters – Joann Thau of Jackson and Robin Bonura and her husband Brian Bonura, Sr. of Milltown; many nieces and nephews; and her dogs – Lola, Pearl and Kane.

Visitation will be 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM Thursday, December 15, 2022, at Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick with a funeral service to be held at 6:00 PM at Selover Funeral Home. Private cremation will follow.
