Please share a memory of Mary to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Mary R. (Bastardi) Battaglia died Monday, December 12, 2022, at her home in North Brunswick. She was 96.

Born in the Bronx, New York to the late Gaetano Thomas and Rosaria (Giardinieri) Bastardi, she lived in New York before moving to North Brunswick in 1956.

Mrs. Battaglia was a communicant of St. Mary of Mount Virgin R.C. Church in New Brunswick.

A beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she was a woman who was clear in her meaning of family and loved her children and grandchildren deeply. Although she lived a full and loving life, she will be genuinely missed by the entire family and all their friends, who she touched over her lifetime.

Her husband Frederick F. Battaglia died in 1995. She was also predeceased by her daughter Laura Hansen in 2021. Surviving are three daughters – Mary Boyer and her husband Jerry of Bordentown, Palma Rask and her husband Bob of Milltown and Carolyn Battaglia of South Brunswick; three sons – Frederick Battaglia and his wife Colleen of Temecula, California, Guy Battaglia and his wife Diana of North Brunswick and Joseph Battaglia and Amanda Applegate of Milltown; her son-in-law Richard Hansen of Yardville; 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Until we meet again we will love you with all our hearts and celebrate your life.
