Obituary of Angelo J. Biondo

Angelo J. Biondo, died Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at his home in Milltown. He was 89 years old.

 

Angelo was born in North Brunswick. He has lived in Milltown since 1987. He was a 1952 graduate of Saint Peter's High School, a fireman for the City of New Brunswick for 25 years retiring in 1985. Angelo also worked as a painting and decorating contractor.

 

He served his country with the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a member of the American Legion Post #25, Milltown, Life Member of VFW Post #4699 and the ELKS Lodge #324 in New Brunswick, Knights of Columbus #6572 in New Brunswick and AARP #3885 in North Brunswick.

 

Angelo was predeceased by his wife Marie C. Biondo in 2016; his son James Biondo in 1997; his parents Paul and Vitina Biondo; brothers - Vincent, Joseph and Biagio Biondo; two sisters-in-law - Ann Biondo and Bernice Biondo; and his brother-in-law Frank Jennetty. Surviving are his daughters Angela Toreky of Milltown and Linda Ludwig and her husband Kyle of Point Pleasant; four grandchildren - Michael Toreky, Lauren and Lindsey Ludwig and James Biondo Jr.; two great grandchildren - Gage and Emma Biondo; sisters Rose Jennetty and Pauline Biondo of Perth Amboy and Antoinette Munro and her husband Don of Pensacola, Florida; a sister-in-law Joan Biondo; and several nieces and nephews.

 

Visitation will be Tuesday, January 3, 2023, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral on Wednesday, January 4, 2023, at 9:15 AM from the Selover Funeral Home followed by a 10:00 AM Mass at Saint Mary of Mount Virgin RC Church, New Brunswick. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Burial Park in South Brunswick.
