Obituary of Anna J. Mazza

Anna J. (Sica) Mazza died Thursday, January 12, 2023, at University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro. She was 92.

Born in Rahway to the late Harry Sica, Sr. and Anna (Botti) Sica, she lived in New Brunswick before moving to North Brunswick 59 years ago. She was a secretary for Excel Leather Products in Edison for 25 years before retiring in 1993.

Mrs. Mazza was a communicant of St. Mary of Mount Virgin R.C. Church in New Brunswick where she was a member of the St. Anne Society and the Association of St. Lucy Filippini. She also volunteered her time with the Consolata Fathers.

She enjoyed her family and time with them. She loved to host holiday parties at her home and also liked to play card games.

She was predeceased by her husband of 58 years Joseph V. Mazza in 2013; and by her son Robert Mazza in 2022. Surviving are her son Joseph H. Mazza and his girlfriend Andrea Kepic of North Brunswick; her daughter Geraldine Dotoli and her husband John of Medford; her daughter-in-law Karen Kaczmar of Edison; her brother Robert Sica and his wife Dorothy of North Brunswick; five grandchildren – Bethany Boyle and her partner Lee Wayne, Ruby Boyle, Siena Boyle, John Dotoli and his wife Marina and Aubrey Dotoli; and her great granddaughter Alyiah Dotoli.

Visitation will be 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM Thursday, January 19, 2023, at Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick followed by a 10:30 AM Mass at St. Mary of Mount Virgin Church in New Brunswick. Burial will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery in New Brunswick.
