Obituary of Patricia A. McNulty-Luizza

Patricia McNulty-Luizza of North Brunswick passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2023, at her home in North Brunswick surrounded by her family. She was 72. She was born in New Brunswick, the daughter of the late Paul and Anna McNulty. She was raised in New Brunswick, before moving to North Brunswick where she resided for the past 50 years. She worked for many years at Saint Peter's Medical Center in New Brunswick before retiring in 2008. After retiring, Patricia and her husband Jerry enjoyed traveling to many beautiful destinations, with Ireland being her favorite. Patricia enjoyed going to the New Jersey beaches with her family. She enjoyed walking along the boardwalk, laying on the beach, and dipping her toes in the ocean. Patricia loved music. She enjoyed dancing and would love to sing along to anything on the radio. Among many other things, one of Patricia's main hobbies was gardening and growing vegetables. She loved to plant tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, and more. Patricia enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, whether it was in her backyard pool or attending events they participated in. Patricia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Jerry Luizza; her son and daughter-in-law: Michael Koller and his wife Karen, son Paul Koller, stepchildren Jodi Tarvan and her husband Billy, Laura May and her husband Pat, Jerry Luizza Jr. and his wife Wendy, and Joey Luizza; 2 grandchildren: Matthew and Erik Koller; and numerous step grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Linda and late Paul "Bobo" and is survived by siblings: Thomas McNulty and wife Gail, Johnny McNulty, Colleen McNulty, Theresa Dubas and husband Ray, Barbara McNulty, Joseph McNulty, Eileen Lombardi and husband Jeff, and Dennis McNulty and wife Audrey as well as numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon on Monday, January 23, 2023, at Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick followed by a 12:00 Noon funeral service at Selover Funeral Home. Burial will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery in New Brunswick.
