Obituary of Kathleen Mangarella

Kathleen (Gorda) Mangarella died Sunday, March 19, 2023, at St. Peter's University Hospital in New Brunswick. She was 69. Born in Elizabeth to George Gorda and Ruth J. (Cool) Crawford, she had lived in Monroe Township since 1974. She enjoyed gardening and loved hummingbirds. She was predeceased by her father George Gorda; and her brother Edwin Gorda. Surviving are her husband Nicholas Mangarella; two sons – Nicholas Mangarella of Evansville, Indiana and Ryan Mangarella of Monroe Township; her daughter Dina Mangarella of Monroe Township; her mother Ruth J. (Cool) Crawford of North Brunswick; brothers and sisters – Dennis Gorda and his wife Patricia of Virginia, Deborah Gorda of Nevada, Lynn Harding and her husband Mark of California, Jeffrey Gorda and his wife Karen of Virginia, Michelle Gorda of North Brunswick and Mark Gorda and his wife Patricia of East Brunswick; three grandchildren – Colton, Adelyn and Brielle; and many loving nieces and nephews. Private cremation was under the direction of Selover Funeral Home in North Brunswick.
