Obituary of Maria P. Kratzar

Maria (Garibaldi) Kratzar died Friday, March 24, 2023, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. She was 78.

Born in New Brunswick to the late Louis and Carmella "Millie" (Barone) Garibaldi, she lived in Franklin Township before moving to North Brunswick in 1976. She was an administrative assistant at Johnson and Johnson in New Brunswick where she worked for 55 years before retiring in December of 2021.

Ms. Kratzar was a communicant of St. Mary of Mount Virgin R.C. Church in New Brunswick.

Surviving are her daughter Heather Kratzar of North Brunswick; her son Scott Garibaldi and his wife Vanessa of Collingswood; and three grandchildren – Joelle, Sebastian and Giovanna Garibaldi.

Visitation will be 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, March 29, 2023, at Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick. Funeral services will be 9:45 AM Thursday, March 30, 2023, from Selover Funeral Home followed by a 10:30 AM Mass at St. Mary of Mount Virgin Church in New Brunswick. Burial will follow in Resurrection Burial Park in Piscataway.
