Obituary of Paul Coscione

Paul Coscione died Saturday, March 25, 2023, at Somerset Woods Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Franklin Township. He was 66.

Born in Brooklyn to the late John and Marie (DeFina) Coscione, he lived in Brooklyn before moving to North Brunswick 35 years ago. He was a carpenter and was owner of PJC Construction in North Brunswick for many years.

Mr. Coscione was a communicant of St. Mary of Mount Virgin R.C. Church in New Brunswick. He loved restoring and racing antique cars. He enjoyed cooking, a good glass of wine and playing golf and tennis. Above all, he cherished the time with his grandchildren and family.

Surviving are his wife Ann (Adrian) Coscione; two daughters – Elizabeth Applegate of North Brunswick and Kaitlyn Tona and her husband Andrew of Lawrenceville; and four grandchildren – Anthony Applegate, John Paul Applegate, Thomas Applegate and Florence Tona.

Private cremation was under the direction of Selover Funeral Home in North Brunswick. A Memorial Mass will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, April 1, 2023, at St. Mary of Mt. Virgin Church, Remsen Avenue and Sandford Street, New Brunswick. The family will greet friends and relatives at the church beginning at 9:30 AM.
