Obituary of William J. Kwiatkowski

William J. Kwiatkowski, Sr. died Thursday, April 20, 2023, surrounded by his devoted wife and family at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. He was one week shy of his 88th birthday.

Born in his grandparent's home in Helmetta to the late John G. and Anna (Wasilewski) Kwiatkowski, he was raised in South River and moved to North Brunswick 58 years ago. He was director of quality control at DataRam Corporation in Princeton Junction where he worked for 25 years before retiring in 2000.

Mr. Kwiatkowski was a communicant of St. Mary of Mount Virgin R.C. Church in New Brunswick where he served on the parish council and was the trip director. He was also a member of the North Brunswick AARP where he was president and a board member, the New Brunswick Surf Club where he served as president, the Jaycees of South Brunswick where he served as president, the North Brunswick Senior Citizens and the North Brunswick Pioneer Club.

Surviving are his wife Virginia (Lasky) Kwiatkowski; his four children – Donna M. Kwiatkowski-Belt and her husband Scott of Bucks County, Pennsylvania, David W. Kwiatkowski and his wife Gail of North Brunswick, AnnMarie Zoufaly and her husband Scott of New Providence and William J. Kwiatkowski, Jr. and his wife Kara of Metuchen; and 8 grandchildren – Sarah Hieskill and her husband Brandon, Paul Kwiatkowski and his fiancée Hannah Ghindea, Caroline Zoufaly and her companion Travis Braxton, Stephen Zoufaly, Katie Kwiatkowski, William Kwiatkowski, Mary Elizabeth Belt and Richard Belt.

Visitation will be 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Monday, April 24, 2023, at Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick. Funeral services will be 9:45 AM Tuesday, April 25, 2023 from Selover Funeral Home followed by a 10:30 AM Mass at St. Mary of Mt. Virgin Church in New Brunswick. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Burial Park in South Brunswick. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Heart Association at www.heart.org.
