Obituary of Patrick R. Guadagnino

Patrick R. Guadagnino died on Monday, May 15, 2023, his 74th birthday, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick.

Born in New Brunswick to the late Joseph and Yolanda "Viola" (Defalco) Guadagnino, he moved to North Brunswick 55 years ago. He worked at Permacel Tape division of Johnson and Johnson in North Brunswick, the New Jersey Turnpike Authority and Wright's Roses in Cranbury before working for 10 years at the Parks Department of the City of New Brunswick from where he retired in 2012.

Mr. Guadagnino was a member of the Painter's Union in North Brunswick. He was an avid fan of the New York Yankees, the Washington Redskins, and his grandchildren's sports teams.

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by two brothers – Joseph "Skip" Guadagnino and Richard Guadagnino. Surviving are his wife Kathleen C. "Kathye" (O'Rourke) Guadagnino; two daughters – Gina Betsch and her husband Brian of North Brunswick and Lisa Losso and her husband Paul of South Brunswick; his son Patrick Guadagnino, II and his wife Amanda of North Brunswick; and six grandchildren – Tyler Betsch, Caleigh Betsch, Zachary Losso, Samantha Guadagnino, Aiden Betsch and Joseph Guadagnino.

Visitation will be 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM Sunday, May 21, 2023, at Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick. Private cremation will follow.
