Obituary of Thomas J. Romer

Thomas J. Romer, died Friday, June 2, 2023 at John F. Kennedy Medical Center, Edison. He was 74. Thomas was born in New Brunswick, New Jersey and he has lived in Piscataway for the past 19 years. He worked as a parks and recreation maintenance man for the City of New Brunswick for many years before his retirement. He was a member of the Somerset Moose Lodge and the Franklin Eagles Thomas was predeceased by his parents Charles C. and Myrtle (Callaway) Romer and a brother Charles C. Romer. He is survived by his two daughters – Beth Romer of Somerset; Kelly Romer of Somerset. His sister Carol Bernard of Piscataway. Two grandchildren- Kristina Nieves and Riley Fitzgerald. Visitation will be on Thursday, June 8 2023 from 2:00PM to 4:00PM and 7:00PM to 9:00PM at Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick, NJ. A funeral service will be on Friday, June 9, 2023 at 11:30AM at Selover Funeral Home. The interment will follow in Van Liew Cemetery, North Brunswick.
