Obituary of Frank M. Morra

Frank M. Morra died Friday, June 16, 2023, at The Elms of Cranbury. He was 93.

Born in Newark to the late John and Angelina (Dibiase) Morra, he lived in New Brunswick before moving to North Brunswick 60 years ago. He was a New Jersey State Trooper for 29 years before retiring in 1983. He was a member of the Police Honor Legion and the Police Benevolent Association.

Mr. Morra was a communicant of St. Mary of Mount Virgin R.C. Church in New Brunswick. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, serving during the Korean War. He was a member of the Sergeant John Basilone League, the Sons of Italy, the North Brunswick Italian American Club and the Adams Athletic Club.

Surviving are his wife Dorothy (Sciortino) Morra; his daughter Frances Morra Lusick and her husband George Lusick of Marlboro; his son John Morra and his wife Andrea of Hillsborough; and three grandchildren - Connor and Jenna and Lauren.

Visitation will be 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Friday, June 23, 2023, at Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick. Funeral services will be 9:15 AM Saturday, June 24, 2023, from Selover Funeral Home followed by a 10:00 AM Mass at St. Mary of Mount Virgin R.C. Church in New Brunswick. Entombment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park in North Brunswick.
