Obituary of Lidia Carmen Papageorge

Lidia Carmen Papageorge died Friday, August 11, 2023, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. She was 82. Born in San Salvador, El Salvador she has lived in North Brunswick since 1986. She was a factory foreman at Webcraft Technologies in North Brunswick for 35 years before retiring in 2013. Predeceased by her partner Martin Szani. Surviving are her son George Papageorge and his wife Elisabeth of Las Vegas, Nevada; her daughters – Lisa Papageorge of Jacksonville, Florida and Jennifer Papageorge of Barnegat Light; three grandchildren – Austin, Taylor and Jocelyn Papageorge; two sisters – Maria Elena of North Brunswick and Noemi Lopez of El Salvador; and a nephew – Russell Keleman of Princeton and a niece Rhoda Jacinto of Belle Mead. Also survived by her extended family in El Salvador. Private cremation was under the direction of Selover Funeral Home, North Brunswick.
