Obituary of Janice M. Serinese

Janice M. (Cody) Serinese died Saturday, September 2, 2023, at her home in East Amwell Township. She was 83.

Born in New Brunswick to the late Francis and Margaret (Cathcart) Cody, she lived in North Brunswick before moving to East Amwell in 1991. She was a cheerleader and graduated from New Brunswick High School in 1958. Janice was a member of the reunion committee. She worked as a secretary at First Union Bank in North Brunswick for 25 years before retiring in 2002.

Mrs. Serinese was a former communicant of Our Lady of Peace in North Brunswick. She was past president of the Ladies Auxiliary of North Brunswick Volunteer Fire Company #2. She enjoyed bingo and playing softball.

Her son Thomas M. Serinese died in 2011. She is also predeceased by her three brothers – Frank, William and Robert Cody. Surviving are her husband Mario Serinese; two daughters – Linda Kasian and her husband Kenneth of Millsboro, Delaware and Darlene Morrow and Stan of Wrightstown; and three grandchildren – Brett Morrow of Dallas, Texas, Olivia Jackson of Bordentown and Kaeli Morrow of Wrightstown. She will also be missed by the Morrow family – Charles, Jeanette, Christy and Cheri.

Visitation will be 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Friday, September 8, 2023, at Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, September 9, 2023 at Selover Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Burial Park in South Brunswick.
