Obituary of Grace C. Farnham

Grace C. Farnham, age 96, peacefully passed away on December 25, 2023, at Brandywine Senior Living in Colts Neck, NJ. She was born on June 11, 1927, in New Brunswick, NJ, to the late Russell and Elizabeth (Kleinhenz)Tinsman. Grace was a devoted lifelong resident of North Brunswick.

Grace dedicated her professional life as an accountant at General Motors Insurance Corp. She was an active member of the community, contributing her time to the American Legion Auxiliary, Joyce Kilmer Post 25 of Milltown, the North Brunswick Senior Citizens club, the South Brunswick AARP, and the Red Hatters Club of South Brunswick.

Beyond her accomplishments, Grace was known for her exceptional baking skills, leaving a sweet and enduring memory with those who were fortunate enough to savor her creations. Her home was always a haven of cleanliness, reflecting her unwavering dedication to creating a warm and welcoming environment for all. Grace had a passion for puzzles, finding joy in the challenge and satisfaction of solving them.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Richard Farnham Sr., in 2013, as well as her son, Richard S. Farnham Jr., her brothers, Clifford Tinsman and Charles Tinsman; and her sister, Ethel Fate.

Grace is survived by her loving daughters, Karen Marmion and her husband John, and Barbara Fisko; her son, Kenneth Fisko, and his wife Donna. She is also survived by her brother, John Tinsman, and his wife Dorothy. Grace leaves a legacy through her grandchildren, Dylan, Julianne, Bryan, Andrew, and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Services to celebrate Grace's life will be under the compassionate direction of Gleason Funeral Home.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects on Sunday, December 31st, from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M., with a service commencing at 11:00 A.M. at Gleason Funeral Home, 1360 Hamilton Street, Somerset, NJ 08873.
