I never had the pleasure of meeting Anne, Bryan's mom. However, I have been friends with her kind and loving son Bryan for many years. It is easy to imagine that only a generous and warm woman could foster such compassion in a child. Bryan and family, please accept my deepest sympathy for your loss. - Mara

Tom, my thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family at this time. I met your Mother once when we worked together in Houston. I knew that she was a very loving Mom. She loved and cared for her family. May God Bless and Keep You in His Care.

Although I never met Annie, Tom's tribute leads me to believe that the world was a better place because of her. She leaves behind a legacy that I am sure she and her family are proud of. My sympathy goes out to those who were close to her and wish you all a future of health to continue the legacy she created.

We did not know Anna Butler. I did have the pleasure of working with her son Tom. A true gentlemen - sincere, caring and trustworthy -attributes difficult to come by today and a strong tribute to the love of a caring mother.

I went to my brothers and Toms house in Pawling, N.Y, a few years ago at Christmas time. We took a wonderful picture of Tom's mom and dad my husband, Robert, Rosemond, and Tom. Every Christmas since then, I love to look at that picture and remember how special that day will always be for me. Anna seemed very happy to be with everyone that Christmas. God Bless you Anna and God Bless you Tom at this time. You are in my heart.

My Mom.
The American Dream.
Her parents came to America on the boat - from Czechoslovakia – settled down in Scranton, Pennsylvania.
My grandfather Anthony was a coal miner. My grandmother Mary Stasny was a mom. Raised 5 children, George, John, Eddie, Joey & Ann. Born in 1929.
Settled in Carteret, NJ.
Tough times – Great Depression – 1930’s – Took the Deed to their house to the bank since they couldn’t pay the mortgage. The bank refused to accept it since they already had too many other houses.
My mom went to work in New Brunswick. Executive Secretary for Permacel Tape.
Took the bus each day from Carteret to New Brunswick – met Dad at the bus stop in front of the gas station owned by my Dad and my Grandfather.
Fell in Love.
Got Married. 1951.
Moved to Deans, NJ
Plot of land in the country; Built a house; Raised a family.
2 boys; dogs, a garden and a big back yard
An amazing and dedicated mother. Always there for us. Teaching us…with dedicated personal interest in our success. Helping to define right from wrong – God fearing, reverent and respectful.
The kids went on to College and Graduate School. The first ones in the family to do so.
One to Law School; the other Business School.
Because Mom encouraged us. Homework on the Dining Room table. Summers in the Library.
In her golden years, she enjoyed almost every holiday with her kids and their families. New York City… Pawling – even overnight in East Hampton. One of the few nights she didn’t spend in Deans.
About 10 years ago she became afflicted by Alzheimer’s. An awful disease – takes away a little bit every day.
Fought a valiant battle.
My Dad was the caregiver for 9 of those 10 years. A wonderful man. A testament to the strength of their love and their vows. “For Better or Worse. And they had both.
In the end, she was called home to join the choir of angels.
Now we celebrate the life of Anne – sometimes called Annie.
In either case, she is with those who we have sent ahead – and soon we will meet her again in Heaven, beside God and flying among the angels who gaze upon us each day with Grace and hope.
Wonderful Mother – Loving Wife.
My First Friend.
God Bless you, Anne. God Bless you, Mom.
