Obituary of Giorgios Sioras

Georgios (George) Sioras died Tuesday, December 23, 2008, at his home in Edison. He was 63. Born in Leonidio, Greece he had lived in Edison for the past 35 years. He was owner and operator of George Painting Company for the past 35 years. He was a member of Saint George Greek Orthodox Church in Piscataway and was past president of the Kynouria Association. He is predeceased by his parents Phillipas and Fani Golegos Sioras; and three sisters - Irene, Maria and Dimitra. He leaves behind his loved ones - Constantine and Helen Lyssikatos of Edison, John and Yvonne Lyssikatos and their children Eleni and Konstantine of Belle Mead; Nick and Nannette Lyssikatos and their children Kostas and Elizabeth of Waxhaw, North Carolina, and Theodoros and Thomai Chronis and their children George and Taso of Edison. Funeral services will be 9:30 AM Saturday at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, Piscataway. Interment will follow in Van Liew Cemetery in North Brunswick. Friends and relatives may call at Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick on Friday from 6 PM to 9 PM only.
