Obituary of Vilma M. Palagyi

Vilma M. Racz Palagyi died Sunday, December 28, 2008, in the Willow Creek Rehabilitation and Care Center in Somerset. She was 92 years old. Born in Michigan, Mrs. Palagyi resided in New Brunswick before moving to North Brunswick in 1959. She had been employed as an assembler for Louis Lefkowitz & Son, New Brunswick, for 10 years, retiring in 1960. Mrs. Palagyi was a member of the Magyar Reformed Church in New Brunswick. Her husband, Steve Palagy, died in 1983. Surviving are two sons, Edmund S. Palagyi and his wife, Irene, and Otto J. Palagyi and his wife, Carol, all of Hillsborough, four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 9:00 AM Wednesday from the Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick, followed by a 10:30 AM service in the Manville Reformed Church, Manville. Interment will follow in Van Liew Cemetery, North Brunswick. Friends and relatives may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM.
