Obituary of Nicholas J Policastro

Nicholas J. Policastro died Sunday, October 2, 2011 in North Brunswick from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was 32. Born in Princeton, he was raised in Milltown and North Brunswick. He was a 1998 graduate of North Brunswick Township High School where he was a four year letter winner and All Area Player in both football and baseball. He had worked at High Grade Beverage in South Brunswick and Nuni Lite in New Jersey. He was an avid New York Yankees and Denver Broncos fan. His hobbies included music and playing his guitar. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents Richard and Marie Thomas and his paternal grandparents Anthony and Alberta Policastro. Surviving are his parents Joseph and Patricia Policastro of Monroe, his brother Anthony Policastro and his wife Amy of Cranbury, several aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and his dog Jerry. Funeral services will be 9:45 AM Thursday from Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick, followed by a 10:30 AM Mass at St. Mary of Mt. Virgin RC Church, New Brunswick. Burial will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery, New Brunswick. Friends and relatives may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM.
