Obituary of Joseph Pesciotta

Joseph Pesciotta died Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at Community Medical Center in Toms River. He was 84. Born in Highland Park, he lived in Edison and North Brunswick before moving to Bayville. Mr. Pesciotta had worked for Carpenter's Local 1006 for many years before retiring. He was a member of the Local for 67 years. Predeceased by his first wife Florence Olender Pesciotta and a stepdaughter - Laurie Quackenbush, he is survived by his second wife Gloria Ford Pesciotta; a son Michael Pesciotta and his wife Siobhan of North Brunswick; two daughters - Patricia Pilarinos and her husband Anthony of Raleigh, North Carolina and Donna Peters and her husband Dr. David Peters of Middleton, Wisconsin; a stepdaughter Holly Lantz and her significant other Frank King of Bayville; four sisters - Flora Mowery, Marie Pesciotta, Lucretia Stephenson and Celeste Lauro; and loving grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 9:15 AM Tuesday from Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick followed by a 10:00 AM Mass at St. Augustine of Canterbury RC Church, Kendall Park. Burial will follow at St. Stanislaus Kostka Cemetery in Sayreville. Friends and relatives may call at the funeral home Monday from 2PM to 4PM and 7PM to 9PM.
