Sophie Andrysczyk Czysz died Friday, October 7, 2011 at Holy Family Manor in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. She was 91.
Born in Easthampton, Massachusetts, she had lived in North Brunswick most of her life before moving to Pennsylvania in 2005.
Mrs. Czysz was a communicant of Sacred Heart RC Church in New Brunswick and a member of the church's Altar Society and Rosarians. She was also a member of the North Brunswick Senior Citizens and Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW.
Her husband Frank J. Czysz died in 1983. Surviving are two sons - Frank Czysz and his wife Mary Ann of New Tripoli, Pennsylvania and Thomas Czysz and his wife Judy of Macungie, PA; a sister, Veronica Pastuzak of Fords; six grandchildren and one great grandchild.
A funeral mass will be held on 11:00 AM Tuesday at Sacred Heart RC Church in New Brunswick. Burial will follow at St. Peter's Cemetery in New Brunswick. Funeral Arrangements are under the direction of Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Sacred Heart RC Church, 56 Throop Avenue, New Brunswick, 08901 or to a charity of one's choice.
