Anna Rita Inzetta passed away with her family by her side on October 10, 2011 in Lanark, Florida after a short illness. She was 94. Born in the Bronx, New York on June 4, 1917, the daughter of Italian immigrants Louie and Lucy Sonsini, circumstances led to her adoption, while an infant, by Peter and Ida Vignogna who raised her lovingly as their only child. When Anna was nine the family moved to North Brunswick, New Jersey where she attended school. She was married to John M. Inzetta in 1936, and they made their home in East Brunswick, NJ. As a teenager she was briefly employed by Albert Einstein, and as an adult Anna enjoyed a professional career as a private secretary and office manager. Since retiring in1982 she traveled widely with family and friends, lived for a time in Rome, Italy; Boca Raton, Florida; Conyers, Georgia; Sarasota and Eastpoint, Florida. Anna was a communicant of St. Thomas More Roman Catholic Church in Sarasota, was active in St. Pious Catholic Church in Conyers, and has been a member of the congregation of the St. George Island Baptist Church in St George Island, FL. A gifted artist, she will be remembered for her sharp wit, her warmth and curiosity and her life-long devotion to creating original needlework that will continue to grace the lives of her family and friends. Her husband John M. Inzetta died in 1980. Surviving are her son John M. Inzetta of Eastpoint, FL; her daughter Annarita Nora-Scott of Sarasota, FL; three grandchildren - Michael Inzetta, Gina Inzetta and John P. Inzetta; and three great grandchildren, Jordan, Jesse and Jenna Inzetta. Visitation will be 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM Thursday, October 13, at Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick, NJ. A funeral service and entombment will take place 11:00 AM Friday at Franklin Memorial Park in North Brunswick.
