Obituary of Elizabeth Van Liew

Elizabeth Hart Van Liew died Thursday, October 27, 2011, at Regency Heritage Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Somerset. She was 96. Born in Atlanta, Georgia she was raised in New Jersey and had lived in South Carolina and Florida before moving back to New Jersey several years ago. Mrs. Van Liew was a member of the Kendall Park Baptist Church. Her husband Charles Van Liew died in 1994. Surviving are two daughters - Frances K. Wilson of North Brunswick and Elizabeth V. Cain of Montrose, Pennsylvania; three sons - Kenneth O. Van Liew of Lady Lakes, Florida; Thomas J. Van Liew of Santee, South Carolina and Gary W. Van Liew of Aurora, Colorado; 12 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday evening from 7 PM to 9 PM at Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday at the Kendall Park Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Lake Nelson Memorial Park in Piscataway.
