Obituary of Marjorie M. Crowley

Marjorie M. Weller Crowley died Friday, December 9, 2011, at St. Peter's University Hospital in New Brunswick. She was 84. Born in New York City she was raised in Union City and had lived in Milltown for 34 years before moving to Monroe Township in 1995. She had received her bachelor degree in business education from Trenton State College. She had worked for IBM in New York City and more recently at Pomerantz Personnel in Watchung where she was employed for over ten years before retiring in 1991. Mrs. Crowley had been a communicant of Our Lady of Lourdes R.C. Church in Milltown where she was very active in the PTA. She was a communicant of Nativity of Our Lord R.C. Church in Monroe Township where she was a member of the Companions of Pauline. She had been a lecturer and member of the Altar Rosary Society at both churches. Her husband James M. Crowley died in 2006. Surviving are her son William Crowley of North Brunswick; two daughters - Nancy Rubin and her husband Ron and Jacqueline Maroccia and her husband Jeffrey, all of North Brunswick; four grandchildren - Bethany and Alaina Rubin and Gwyneth and Madeline Maroccia; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 8:45 AM Monday from Selover Funeral Home, 555 North Brunswick followed by a 10:00 AM Mass at Nativity of Our Lord Church in Monroe. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Burial Park in South Brunswick. Friends and relatives may call at the funeral home Sunday from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM.
