Thomas R. Finn passed peacefully on Tuesday, December 20, 2011, at St. Peter's University Hospital in New Brunswick. He was 72. Born in Carteret, he had lived there until moving to North Brunswick in 1969. He served honorably in the US Army between January of 1960 and March of 1962 at Fort Bragg, North Carolina and Mannheim, Germany. Mr. Finn had worked for Valairco, Inc. in Manville for 36 years before retiring in 2009. He was predeceased by his father George Finn, his mother Stella Wisniewski Campbell, his stepfather Edward Campbell and two sisters - Nancy Skripko and Josephine Guerriero. Surviving are his wife of 51 years - Rosemary Rompa Finn; three daughters - Robin Finn of North Brunswick, Dawn Finn-Barresse of Hackettstown and Kim Kunz of South Brunswick; a brother William G. Finn of Dayton and two grandchildren - Zsofia and Hunter Finn. Funeral services will be 10:30 AM Friday at Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery in Linden. Friends and relatives may call at the funeral home Thursday from 4 PM to 8 PM.
