Obituary of John Roswech

Please share a memory of John to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

John Alexander Roswech Sr. passed away suddenly on Friday, May 5, 2017, at his son's farm in Mott, North Dakota. He was 75.

John was born in Flushing Queens, New York, and he has lived in North Brunswick since 1964. He was a self-employed contractor for forty years. He served in the US Navy during his younger years and he was a member of the American Legion Post #459, North Brunswick. John loved going into New York City, traveling, dining out and spending time with his grandchildren. He also loved the peace he found out in North Dakota working on his son's farm. He made many close friends in North Dakota and left his mark on the small close knit farming community.

His beloved wife, Joan D. Roswech, who passed in 1989, predeceased him. John is survived by his children Cathleen Lewis and her husband Kenneth of Middlesex; Lisa DeGroff and her husband Douglas of Monmouth Junction; and his son John Alexander Roswech Jr. and his wife Kimberly of Chester; his grandchildren Jeffrey, Danielle, Ashley, Kyle, Tyler, Connor, Megan and his companion Patricia Brophy.

Friends may visit at Selover Funeral Home 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick, N.J. on Friday, May 12 from 5:00PM to 8:00PM. Funeral Service will be at Selover Funeral Home on Saturday May 13 at 10:00 AM.
