James’s family: I'm so sorry for your loss. I went through a similar situation and I was very helped by the hope that I found in the Bible in John 5: 28, which says, "Do not amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". I am sending you a link with more information on this hope.

James Linagar was the nicest, kindest man I have ever know I have known him since I was born he treated like a son and I always thought of him like a father we would talk for hours I would visit in rehab and at his home we had any great talks and memories till his son Brad and Wife Tonya thought I was after his money and stole from him that is far from the truth I would do his wash go to store for him took him for rides so he could get out of rehab never asked for a dime or took a dime . I was there for him more then his own son he would tell me Brad said that he was an inconvenience to him and a burden very sad .Then Brad and Tonya told me they no longer want me to have any contact with James aka Mr L as I called him I have known him 50 years still called him Mr L but he knows and i know he was like my father .unfortitly I was not around to visit him the last year because brad and Tonya said they would take leagal action so to just keep peace against what ibeleaved in I stepped away . Goes to you people friends get greedy when it comes to it
Peace Mr L

I've known Jim since 1978. I was a student at Spotswood HS where he taught. I was doing an article on teachers who did theatre for the Spotswood Scribbler and interviewed Jim. He encouraged me to see his show and a year or so later I was performing in Guys and Dolls with him.
It is now 40 years later and I will always remember Jim so fondly. He was a good friend and a dedicated performer and member of Adult Drama. He will be greatly missed.

Our deepest sympathy to Brad and entire Linegar family. We knew Jim for many years in North Brunswick before moving to Ringoes, NJ. He always was a good neighbor and happy personality in all the shows he performed. R I P.
