Obituary of James R Linegar

James R. Linegar passed on Sunday November 4, 2018 at his home in North Brunswick. He was 82 years old.
Mr. Linegar was born in Washington DC and he has lived in North Brunswick since 1962. He was a 1954 graduate of Highland Park High School, attended Rutgers University and graduated in 1959 with a bachelors degree in geology. He received his master's degree in geology in 1959 from the University of Wyoming. Mr.Linegar was a teacher for 30 years with the Spotswood Board of Education and he retired in 1991. He was a member of the Rutgers Alumni, the North Brunswick Adult Drama Club and the Lighthouse Association. He performed for 30 years in shows for drama groups in North Brunswick and his favorite roles were Daddy Warbucks, Luther Billis and Fagin.
Mr. Linegar is predeceased by his parents Charles R. and Cloe (Funk) Linegar and his daughter, Retired Lieutenant Colonel Tracey Linegar-Taylor. He is survived by his son Bradford Linegar and his wife Tanya of Easton, PA.; a son-in-law Albert Taylor of Springfield, VA; and five grandchildren Sylvia, William, Jillian, Mackenzie and Shae.
Visitation will be on Thursday November 8, 2018 from 10::00 AM to 12:00 PM at Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick. Service will be at 11:30 AM at the funeral home. Entombment will be in Franklin Memorial Park.
