My old long time tennis partner died. I will miss you. I remember the great times playing for USTA and in East Brunswick with you. I also remember when I was down and you reached out to me to play at Mercer. There was always a nice sweetness, smart aspect to you which is why I trusted you and enjoyed you as my double partner. I remember you telling me about all your trips to France and how much you enjoyed the good food and the good wines and my country of birth. .Playing with a friend is always happy and relaxing. God speed my friend the judge and lawyer who loved his family and was a dear friend. Bertrand.

I have known Charles since I started playing tennis in 1992. He has been a long time friend and we have
shared many good times together including our trips to Vermont and Florida, and Sunday morning tennis.
Just like the picture above, he always had a smile on his face. He was a great friend and I will miss him.

I have so many great memories, for many years he invited me to be part of the group he would take to play tennis in Longboat Key, Sarasota. But we shared so many other wonderful times. One year he invited me for Thanksgiving to his house, which was really nice because my wife and daughter were in Costa Rica at that time. Charles, you were a great friend, and will be deeply missed.

Charles was part of my Saturday morning tennis family for many years. I enjoyed his love of tennis, horses, sports, & politics. He often spoke about his wonderful family. We spoke about his extensive travel and his enjoyment of fine wines. Such a wonderful person & friend...I will miss him. Scott

It is with a very heavy heart to hear of my wonderful college suitemate suddenly passing away. Those incredible days in the dorm, parties after graduating, and long discussions about our Yankees will be with me forever. You left a lasting impression on a lot of people, Charles, and will be deeply missed.

We have so many great memories of time spent at Seton Hall and after...dancing at each others' weddings, Halloween costume parties, one particularly fun Toga Party, just hanging out at each other's apartments on a Saturday night. The Seton Hall gang lost a great one. Charles, you will be missed.

Charles and I have been friends since 1997-1998.
We shared lots of similar qualities such as tennis, horse racing, Las Vegas, Food Criticing, Wine Connoisseurs, Chats in Current events, Religion, Politics, Medicine, Sports, History (He was a History Buf) and pretty much all topics in today's society.
One thing I will surely miss is our weekly lunches!

Charles,
Rest in peace my old friend.
My first memory of you was in the back of a truck that was transporting our Little League team in Babbage Park and you me and Jules were debating The merits of Bart Starr versus YA Tittle. I was 10 years old.
Put in a good word for me up there and for the Yankees!
Your friend
Prosper

I remember Charles and Susan dancing at Katy's wedding. It was late in the evening. Everyone had found their party groove. Charles had relaxed into his tux and Susan looked beautiful. The fast song had each of them boppin the perimeter of the dance floor, eyes riveted on each other and so incredibly happy. I remember Charles that day, a true public servant, a proud father and in that moment, a devoted and loving husband.
Now the dance is over, Charles. Rest in Peace.
